Once a court has reached its decision on the case, we will have a final wash-up meeting to review the case. This makes sure that we know what our next steps are - it may, for instance, be appropriate to take action under the Proceeds of Crime Act or take other action to help the victims and witnesses.
These meetings also give us a chance to reflect on how successful the case was, and whether there were any lessons that we learned that could improve future investigations.
