Policy Support Lawyer

The Assurance Directorate of the SFO will expand and develop the strategic priorities of the SFO, whilst placing itself at the centre of future decision making across the Law Officers Departments and the wider Criminal Justice System. This opportunity will give individuals the experience of being involved in change management and the ability to develop the work of the organisation. The Directorate works closely with external stakeholders such as the Attorney General’s Office, CPS, Home Office, and other Whitehall Groups to initiate and contribute to new legislation so that new powers introduced reflect the requirements of the casework Divisions within the organisation. Further the Directorate will be responsible for analysing and setting key performance indicators across the Divisions to improve efficiency, continuity and working practices. This will allow the organisation to monitor performance so that we are continually raising standards and performance.
