Cabinet Office's Capability Review - December 2009
The Serious Fraud Office welcomes the Cabinet Office's Capability Review, which took place at an important time for the organisation following the major transformational changes introduce by SFO management over the past 18 months.
The SFO says the report highlights the real progress made during that time and commends SFO management for continuing to deliver on business objectives at a time of huge change and commend managers and staff for delivering some of their best results at a time of huge change. In particular the Review acknowledged the views of top level stakeholders in both the public and private sector who unanimously supported the changes to both strategy and organisation.
The Review suggested the SFO needed to do more to engage staff and the SFO is already addressing this issue, putting in place a new series of engagement activities involving a wider range of senior leaders as just one of the measures to continue to build the relationship between senior leaders and staff.
