The first step in fraud prevention is educating people on what we deal with and what to look out for.
We try to spread this understanding in several ways:
- Website - we have tried to include some information to help people understand different types of fraud, as well as information on fraud prevention.
- Lectures - the Director gives lectures on what we are doing to combat fraud.
- Interviews - the Director also does interviews with the media on the latest fraud cases.
