We are a relatively small and highly specialised organisation that investigates and where appropriate prosecutes only a small number of very serious and complex cases. Action Fraud is the UK's national fraud reporting centre. If you are concerned about any aspect you should contact Action fraud first.
Action Fraud
Action Fraud is the UK's national fraud reporting centre.
If you feel, having asked yourself the above questions, that
perhaps the fraud you wish to report does not fit the SFO's
criteria then you can report it to Action Fraud.
Action Fraud is a central point of contact to call and get help if
you've been a victim of fraud.
This is a new place for you to find out about fraud. If you are a victim of fraud, you can use this website to report the crime you have suffered and find information and resources to support you.

Action Fraud have an online tool for reporting for reporting fraud:
http://www.actionfraud.org.uk/report_fraud
However, if it appears that your case of fraud is serious or complex, you can report it to SFO Confidential in confidence using our secure online reporting form, at:
https://report.sfo.gov.uk/sfo-confidential---provide-information-in-confidence.aspx so that we can investigate further.
Or you can send details to us in writing at: SFO Confidential, Serious Fraud Office, 2-4 Cockspur Street, London, SW1Y 5BS.
While we cannot launch an investigation based only on speculation we will carefully consider any information that you give us. When deciding whether to take on a case, we need to consider the strength and relevance of this evidence. The more detailed information you can provide, the more valuable to us it will be and the easier it will be to justify the launch of an investigation.
