FOI 2019-140 – Cases opened in Scotland since 2010

?>

Date Answered: 23 October 2019

This request asked:
Since 2010 how many new investigations have been opened in Scotland, broken down by council area.
How many are on-going and for the ones that are closed, can you provide summary information such as conclusion reports.

Our response:
There have been no investigations opened in Scotland. The SFO are part of the UK criminal justice system covering England, Wales and Northern Ireland, but not Scotland, the Isle of Man
or the Channel Islands. Alternatively, you may wish to contact the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service in Scotland who might be able to provide the information you have requested.
