Investigation opened into ethical forestry investment scheme

8 March, 2017 | News Releases

The Director of the SFO has opened a criminal investigation into an alleged fraudulent investment scheme marketed by Ethical Forestry Limited and associated companies between 2007 and 2015.

As part of the investigation, the SFO, in conjunction with Dorset Police, have today executed search warrants at three addresses in Dorset (Poole, Ferndown and Boscombe).

The SFO encourages members of the public who have invested in these schemes to complete a questionnaire that will be available from Friday, 10 March. It can be found on the SFO website at https://sfovla.egressforms.com/.  This questionnaire is secure and your information will be protected when using this reporting mechanism.

Please note the SFO is unable to provide any further comment as the investigation continues.
