FOI 2019-150 – Procurement frameworks

?>

Date Answered: 1 November 2019

 This request asked:

  1. Is your organisation registered to a procurement framework[s] for professional consultancy services?
  2. If yes what is the name of the frame work?
  3. What is the value of goods and service purchased via the frame work in the last 12 months?
  4. What is the split in service types procured?

Our response:

  1. Government departments are not required to register for use of the Crown Commercial Services framework. The SFO does not specifically hire individual consultants but may use the framework to hire a range of experts, i.e. Forensic Accountants.
  2. The Crown Commercial Services framework which is publicly available at: https://www.crowncommercial.gov.uk/agreements
  3. The SFO does not separate out its management information to show spend against frameworks only and therefore this information is unavailable.
  4. The SFO does not hold a split of service types. Procurements are conducted based on business need.
