FOI 2019-150 – Procurement frameworks
?>Date Answered: 1 November 2019
This request asked:
- Is your organisation registered to a procurement framework[s] for professional consultancy services?
- If yes what is the name of the frame work?
- What is the value of goods and service purchased via the frame work in the last 12 months?
- What is the split in service types procured?
Our response:
- Government departments are not required to register for use of the Crown Commercial Services framework. The SFO does not specifically hire individual consultants but may use the framework to hire a range of experts, i.e. Forensic Accountants.
- The Crown Commercial Services framework which is publicly available at: https://www.crowncommercial.gov.uk/agreements
- The SFO does not separate out its management information to show spend against frameworks only and therefore this information is unavailable.
- The SFO does not hold a split of service types. Procurements are conducted based on business need.
